Q: How far should we book in advance?

Typically 6-12 months in advance. If your getting married during peak months (May, September, October) it is recommended 9-24 months in advance. Check with us for specific availability.

Q: Do we travel?

Yes, we are available for destination weddings and weddings anywhere within the United States.

Q. What styles of photography does Studio 1 do?

Traditional

Traditional photography (sometimes known as "formal" photography or "portraiture") refers to posed pictures, usually of the wedding party and the couples' families. These are the shots of the bridesmaids with their bouquets, the groom with his parents, etc.

Artistic

Artistic is includes everything from soft-focus lenses and filters to hand-colored images and unusual camera angles. The key to artistic photography is to use it to highlight a particular moment.

Photojournalstic

Most couples want to make sure to include candid, photojournalistic photography in their wedding albums alongside the formal shots.

Your wedding gallery will consist of a blend of all three.

Q: Do you shoot in RAW?

A: Yes.

Q: When will I get to see my wedding photos?

Your photos will be ready within 2-4 months following the wedding. Your photos will be posted to a private gallery and you will be able to view your pictures. You can share this private gallery with family and friends. They can order prints through our easy to use online system. We will email you once the pictures are ready. Please allow us the necessary allotted time to complete post production on your wedding photos. Should you not here from us within this time frame do not hesitate to contact us. We are not responsible for your wedding images after a 2 year period. Please make sure you download the images and save them to an external hard drive.

Q. Do I get the digital negatives for my wedding photos?

Your digital negatives are included when you purchase any of our photography packages. All photos are provided in an the industry-standard file format JPG and are the same resolution from our cameras. We color correct all our images.

Q. What about engagement shoots?

If an engagement shoot was part of your package we will post your engagement within two weeks after your photo shoot on our private online gallery. You will receive a selected set of the best images from the shoot that will total 30-60 images. You will be able to digitally download your engagement photos from our online gallery system.

Q. How many photos do we end up with?

If you have booked one photographer for your wedding you will receive around 600-700 pictures of the day. If you have booked two photographers 900-1000. However numbers fluctuate based on variables such as weather, time constraints, and general events of the day.

Q. Who are our photographers?

Our experienced staff of photographers includes Ricky , Massimo, Christopher , Lenny , Joseph and Domenic. With combined experience of over three thousand weddings our team is seasoned for anything and everything.

Q: Do you offer albums?

Yes, we offer several style albums including crystal glance covers, leather, and coffee table books.Please refer to our album section for more information.

Q: Who chooses the photographs in the album?

You can choose your photos.

Q. How many pictures can we put in our wedding album?

40-50 pictures.

Q. How long will it take to complete my album?

For most albums, completion of your album will take approximately 4-6 months from start to finish which includes drafting, production, and final delivery. You can help to ensure the process moves as quickly as possible by responding promptly and confirming a final draft if you are choosing pictures. You have a 1 year time frame to complete your album with us.

Q: Will you post the photographs online?

We always respect the privacy of our clients. If you do not want your pictures posted online we are more than happy to accommodate your request..

Q. I booked with Studio 1! What's next?

Anytime between the date you booked and the date of your wedding you can submit the wedding checklist in the form's section up above. We recommend you wait until 2-3 weeks before the wedding to fill this out as plans often change.
